As background, their current President & CEO, Greg Kistler, will be retiring year end 2024. CBI’s Board of Directors launched this search quite early to ensure the bank had sufficient time to recruit a talented bank executive to a town the size of Muscatine. With more than 20 years of experience, Hoag has worked for search firms as well as directly within Fortune 500 companies. He most recently served as Vice President of Executive Recruiting for Wells Fargo. Hoag also served as a Founder and Partner at JB Scott Search, a retained search firm specializing in placing senior-level diverse leaders. Hoag earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Minnesota Duluth. He lives in Maple Grove, Minnesota with his wife Laura.
